Sporting Clays
Spring Island offers Sporting Clays on its range and the Club has both regularly scheduled and special shooting events. A safety course is offered to shooters of all ages and shooting lessons are available upon request. Shooters may choose 5-Stand or 10-Stand shooting and will typically shoot 25, 50 or 100 targets. Shotguns and shells are available through the Club's Outfitter and the range is open Tuesday through Saturday.
Traps throw clay targets over natural cover simulating the excitement of wing shooting. Several events are held throughout the year and Sporting Clays activities are regularly added to allow opportunities for members to participate in organized events.
